Atcherley and Mike Vacendak had the dream of building a
one-of-a-kind indoor recreational facility for the people of
the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. That dream is now a reality!
Since opening November 8, 2004, the 87,000 square foot building is
buzzing with activity. It holds a full-size P.I.A.A. soccer
field (divided into 3 split fields) as well as three high
school hardwood basketball courts. The $4 million facility
is a fixed steel structure unlike fabric domes. It is the
only sports complex of its kind for over 100 miles!
All-Sports Enterprises (responsible for the materials
used in the construction of Riverfront) has rated Riverfront
#1 on a list of 500 buildings constructed nationally! You have to see it to believe it!!!
We also provide venues for football, flag-football, field
hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, softball, and baseball. There
are leagues, tournaments, and camps in addition to field and
court rentals. Some nights are designated “open” nights.
Training sessions are offered for those seeking to improve
their game. The facility houses a concession stand and two
party rooms for birthday parties or meetings. There is
something for everyone of every age. If you want to do it,
we will try to make it happen! Don’t miss your chance to

Take Interstate 81 South to Route 11/Scranton
Expressway (exit 191b).
Follow Scranton Expressway to Providence Rd/7th
Ave Exit.
Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto
Providence Rd.
Proceed through two lights.
Turn right before the Wash Away Car
Wash.
The Riverfront entrance will be on the left as
you pull into the parking lot.
From New York City Area
Take Interstate 80 West to 380.
Merge onto 380 via Exit 293 toward Scranton.
Then take 81 North to the Route 11 South/Scranton
Expressway/Exit 191b.
Follow Scranton Expressway to Providence Rd/7th
Ave Exit.
Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto
Providence Rd.
Proceed through two lights.
Turn right before the Wash Away Car
Wash.
The Riverfront entrance will be on the left as
you pull into the parking lot.
From the Philadelphia Area
Take Interstate 476 North to Interstate 81
North/Exit 115.
Follow Interstate 81 North to the Central
Scranton Expressway/Exit 185.
Follow signs to Spruce Street.
Turn right on Jefferson.
At second light turn left on Mulberry Street.
Take the Providence Road/7th Ave Exit.
Turn right at the end of the ramp and proceed through one light.
Turn right before the Wash Away Car

From Western
Pennsylvania Area
Take Interstate 80 East to Interstate 81 North.
Follow Interstate 81 North to the Central
