The
Annual General Meeting (AGM) is our annual meeting for SAY members.
SAY members include all administrators, board members, coaches,
players, referees, parents and volunteers.
Over
the years the AGM has grown to be more than just a meeting. Today
there are clinics for players, referees, coaches and administrators.
Then there is the vendor expo FREE of charge for anyone involved in
soccer. SAY invites not only their National Partners but other
leaders in the soccer industry to come and present their
merchandise, goods and services to SAY members.
During the two day event there is plenty of fun time to go along
with the clinics. This year there is a golf outing for anyone who
plays golf no matter the skill level. Just a fun time to get
together and try to play a little golf. There are prizes and gifts
for the golfers. Several years ago SAY Soccer introduced Corn Hole
to those who live outside the Cincinnati area and it was a huge hit.
This year we are having another corn hole tournament to anyone who
can throw. No skills required just a good sense of humor.

Political Rallies
Senator Barack Obama held a rally on Sunday, April 20, 2008. He
was introduced by special guest Caroline Kennedy and Senator Bob
Casey, Jr. Several thousand people were in attendance.
Sunday, October 12, 2008 a rally was held with Senator Joe Biden, his
wife Jill in attendance. Also speaking were former President
Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton. Estimated attendance
was 6,000 people.
Governor Sarah Palin and her husband Todd held a rally on Tuesday,
October 14, 2008. Lee Greenwood was also in attendance,
performing twice. An estimated 5,800 people attended.
